Disability: Too hard basket or Just too uncomfortable to ask questions and get curious basket?

DISABILITY: β€˜too hard basket’ or β€˜just too uncomfortable to ask questions and get curious basket’?

This excuse of β€˜I’m not qualified to teach people with disabilities’ is JUST that - an excuse.

Do you need a qualification to work with someone who is gay?
Do you need a qualification to teach a mum?
Do you need a qualification to share your passion for dance with someone in their 60’s?

Why then do you need a completely separate qualification to bust a move with someone with a disability?

Are there skills that will best support someone with a disability - absolutely. And that mentality serves all the other examples provided above.

Dig deep for a second and ask yourself, What’s REALLY getting in the way of you feeling confident teaching people with disabilities.

Then get in touch with us, we’re always down for a good chat!
